Healthy Options ELEVATE is a community programme for people requiring lower levels of support with self-management strategies, providing a pathway for people to become more physically active and improve their health and wellbeing.

ELEVATE offers clients the chance to belong to a community of like-minded people, learning and supporting one another through regular activity and social sessions.

ELEVATE is either accessed via self-referral or by referral from any other third sector organisation or statutory service. The programme is made up of a rolling weekly timetable of physical activity classes, education and social sessions delivered by Health & Wellbeing Professionals.

You can self-refer to ELEVATE by clicking here.

We ask for a £28 per month contribution to enrol in Elevate, but no one is ever turned away for lack of funds.

ELEVATE is designed to provide ongoing access to self-management strategies for the community of Oban and Lorn. This service is for people looking for support to manage their long-term health and wellbeing. Unlike ADAPT and THRIVE, our 12 week specialist programmes, ELEVATE is open ended and can be accessed through Self-Referral. It offers people a proactive, preventative approach for how to live more active lifestyles, improve social connections and, in turn, improve mental health & wellbeing.

What is Self-Referral?

This is the collective term given to health and wellbeing services in the community which you can refer yourself to. Healthy Options ELEVATE is one of these services. These services differ from others in that you are able to refer yourself to them without requiring someone like your GP’s approval first - health professionals can also still refer and recommend ELEVATE to you. A rigorous assessment process is followed for each application to make sure everyone is receiving the support appropriate to their needs.

If you think you would ELEVATE with the support of exercise professionals to guide your wellbeing activities we would love to hear from you! We will have an onsite self-referral option shortly.

Your details will be placed on our waiting list subject to review by a member of the Healthy Options team. They will then be in touch to discuss your self-referral and ensure we are the right service for you.
